CASA & CAPA Curriculum

The Capital Area Soccer Association has established and will continue to develop soccer curriculums designed to guide each player through the varying stages of their development.

The Association's curriculum strategy is to provide soccer programs for all levels of play and help each player achieve the highest level of soccer ability.  The Association's core values are centered around developing technique, self confidence, creativity and sportsmanship.

Our curriculum is based on the United States Soccer Player Development Model.  This curriculum has been divided into 2 different models for different levels of play.

  1. Capital Area Soccer Association (CASA): This program is designed for the player who enjoys the game and wants to play in the local travel league and tournaments.
  2. Capital Area Premier Academy (CAPA):  This program focuses on the training for the opportunity to compete at the highest level.

The Association's professional trainers will enhance and deliver curriculum through team training sessions, advanced player development programs, position specific training schools, camps and private sessions.

These curriculums have been designed to maximize the opportunities for each player to grow mentally and physically.  A curriculum summary is provided below.
