About CASA

Welcome to the Capital Area Soccer Association!

CASA was formed in October 1996 to serve soccer players and their families in the Greater Harrisburg Area including Lower Paxton, Susquehanna, West Hanover and other surrounding townships.  It is an association formed and run by the parents of youth soccer players.

CASA is affiliated with the Central Pennsylvania Youth Soccer League (CPYSL) and has organized recreational, travel and premier level programs for boys and girls in the Spring and Fall outdoor seasons using Township and School District fields throughout the area.  Indoor training and competition during the winter months is provided for interested players at all levels.

Each Spring, we conduct open tryouts for Boys' and Girls' Travel and Premier Level teams. All registered players are notified of these tryouts.

Geography

Many parents have asked if they must live within a particular area in order for their children to participate in CASA soccer. No, there are no set boundaries. The only requirement for CASA membership is a desire to play soccer.

CASA has been formed to serve soccer players and their families in the Greater Harrisburg area including Lower Paxton, Susquehanna, West Hanover and other surrounding townships. Initially, most games will be played on Lower Paxton Township fields. However, as the program grows, we will be meeting with the supervisors in the neighboring townships to expand the availability of playing fields.

There are many fine soccer programs in the mid-state area. Our goal is that all children who want to play soccer will find a program that's right for their needs.

CASA Volunteers

There are so many ways, big and small, that you can help out your soccer club.  From working a registration, helping out with special events like tournaments and banquet planning, age group coordinators, mailings, coaching, assisting - just to name a few.

Time commitments can be as little as a couple hours twice a year.  Please contact CASA at 652-3676 if you are interested in becoming a volunteer.
