CAPA 2K UNITED U11 Boys Earn Red Rose Classic 2012 Championship

05/16/2012, 2:02pm (EDT)
By Anthea Stebbins

The weekend of May 12th marked a huge 4-0 tournament record for the CASA CAPA U11 Boys team. Under the leadership of Coach Chinapoo and Assistant Coach Kreiger, the boys dedicated themselves to playing their best and saw victories in each of their games including:  10-1 over Rheems Revolution, 7-2 over PA Classics, 11-0 LebCo Strikers, and 7-1 over FC Revolution Rangers.

When asked to comment on the team's success during the tournament, 2K United Trainer and Coach Richard Chinapoo said, "The team played as a unit on both sides of the ball. Great passion and energy especially in the last game of the tournament to clinch the championship." As there is always room to grow and improve, Coach Chinapoo advises that "the players need to continue to work hard at the training sessions.  Focus on their individual touch and fitness level."

Congratulations, team…and all the best as you take on THE POCONO BLAST!
